Lunar Projectile Simulator

Launch the same ideal projectile on the Moon, Earth and Mars. The comparison isolates gravity so you can see how range, height and hang time change.

Model assumptions

The calculation assumes level terrain, constant uniform gravity, identical launch and landing height and no aerodynamic drag. That last approximation is useful for the Moon's extremely tenuous exosphere but not for real projectile motion through Earth's or Mars' atmospheres. Their results therefore show a gravity-only comparison.
